Bora Bora is one of the worlds most popular islands to visit. The main island of Bora Bora is situated around 143 miles northwest of Papeete, which is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef. Bora bora has three main villages which are all small. The main village is called Vaitape, which is located on the Western side of the island.
